Running a tree surgery business it often upset me seeing really good logs being wasted as firewood or worse still being chipped for biomass .

To offset this problem we invested in a sawmill and can now produce and supply some really great Scottish hardwood planks

We tend to mill as really chunky 3 inch (75mm) thick boards - this gives the end user plenty to work with and no problem with planing off to a really good finish.

We can, of course, mill to a thinner slab on demand .

We specialise in unusual and feature full hardwoods , Elm and Yew being particular favourites-
